Froyo Shop is
a women owned & operated small business

Froyo Shop was created in August 2019 by Kimberlee Clemons and Mallory Nails and their storefront opened for business on December 9, 2019 in Madison, Ohio.

Kimberlee and Mallory both believed there should be no limitations on the dessert you want while wanting a premium quality. That simple belief started as a conversation between the mother-daughter duo who shared a love for sweet treats, bright colors, and the idea of creating something that felt fun, welcoming, and just a little magical.

What began as a brainstorming sessions soon turned into a dream: a place where the community could gather, laugh, and build the dessert they imagined — without rules, without judgment, and without sacrificing quality.

From taste-testing flavors to sketching out what their perfect little dessert shop would look like, every step brought them closer to something bigger than they ever expected. They wanted more than frozen yogurt. They wanted an experience — one that felt personal, joyful, and completely customizable.

And so, Froyo Shop was born.

Make it

Froyo Shop provided an experience filled with premium frozen yogurt, delicious toppings, drizzles, and endless combinations that let you create a treat as unique as you are. It’s a place built on passion, creativity, and the belief that dessert should always be fun… and that everyone deserves a little sweetness in their day.

Along the way, Froyo Shop added one of its most-loved offerings: refreshing boba tea. Bursting with flavor and customizable just like their frozen yogurt, boba became the perfect drink to cool down on a summer day, enjoy at a festival, or sip while walking around an event. It didn’t take long for boba teas to become a signature part of the Froyo Shop experience.

Almost overnight, the world changed.

Then in 2020, COVID-19 hit.

Almost overnight, the world changed. Streets emptied, storefronts closed, and the future felt uncertain. But for Kimberlee and Mallory, this moment didn’t break their dream — it pushed them to think beyond the brick-and-mortar shop they had worked so hard to build.

High Standards

They kept the highest standards of cleanliness of their shop for their customers. Froyo Shop was recognized for their excellence and received multiple clean inspection awards.

Instead of giving up, they adapted.

They expanded to third-party platforms like DoorDash and Grubhub, determined to keep serving their community the sweet comfort people needed more than ever. Every delivery order became a reminder that people still believed in them. Froyo Shop was recognized as a top performing store on DoorDash and received a ‘Most Loved Business’ award.

And with that encouragement, a new idea started forming. They asked themselves, “What if Froyo Shop didn’t have to stay in one place?”

Frances The Froyo Food Truck

In 2021, Froyo Shop officially expanded into the mobile food truck business.

The dream suddenly had wheels — literally. They named their first food truck Frances. With their first Froyo Shop Food Truck, they brought frozen yogurt to private parties, community events, corporate gatherings, sporting events, festivals, and anywhere joy was needed. The truck quickly became a local favorite, showing up with bright colors, good vibes, and delicious treats that made every event feel a little more special.

As the food truck grew in popularity, one thing became clear: the future of Froyo Shop wasn’t confined to four walls.

The gamble paid off.

Kimberlee and Mallory ran the store alongside the food truck bookings.

Food Trucks Only

In 2025, they made the bold decision to close their brick-and-mortar store and fully embrace the freedom, flexibility, and excitement of the mobile business. It was a change — but one guided by passion, purpose, and the love they had for connecting with people face-to-face at events all over the community.

Fiona The Froyo Food Truck

By 2026, demand had grown so much that they expanded again — this time adding a second, larger Froyo Shop Food Truck to their fleet. The second food truck is named Fiona. What started as a small dream between mother and daughter had evolved into a full-scale mobile dessert experience, reaching more neighborhoods, more celebrations, and more families than ever before.

And through every twist, challenge, and milestone, their mission stayed the same:

To give people the freedom to create the dessert they love, while delivering premium quality and unforgettable moments — wherever the wheels of Froyo Shop take them.
